AFT Photofacial

• Advanced fluorescence technology (AFT) is a revolutionary light based therapy that allows clinicians to treat a variety of skin conditions providing maximal effect on the problem area with minimal damage to the healthy surrounding skin

• Acne, melasma, age spots, small vessels, sun spots and rosacea are a few of the common conditions that AFT therapy can help.

• The light is gently pulsed over the area to be treated. The sensation is similar to a mild rubber band snap.

• A two pass treatment ( going over your face twice) will take 20 minutes. After a treatment, the treated area will have a slight rosey glow but should have no other obvious signs of treatment.

• Downtime is virtually nonexistent. Clients can resume all activities immmediately after treatment.

• Advanced fluorescence technology (AFT) is a new light based treatment that utilizes the unused portions of light and converts them into clinically useful portions of light. The result is excellent clinical effect with minimal risk to the patient.

• Due to new technology, complications and side effects with AFT are low. Blistering, bruising and redness can happen at the time of treatment but these usually resolve within a few days. More serious complications include scarring, hype//hypopigmentation but are rare.

• Safe and Effective treatments.

• Virtually no downtime.

• Minimal risk of complication/side effects.

• Excellent clinical results.

• Health Canada and FDA approved technology.

• Virtually every person is a possible candidate for AFT therapy. People who are photosensitive or who are on photosensitizing medication should not undergo AFT treatments. People sho have recently been on Accutane should not undergo treatment. Women who are preganant should not have AFT therapy until the pregnancy is completed. Ask your AFT therapy clinician if AFT photofacial is right for you.

• Every person is unique; the same applies to treating them with AFT.

• The average number of treatments to complete a photofacial series for a client is 5-8 treatments done every 3-5 weeks.

• The precise number of treatments varies based on the individual client and their area of concern.
